How did you enjoy the CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry?
Pursuing carpentry at TAFE was a transformative experience that laid the foundation for my success and happiness in Western Australia (WA).
From the moment I enrolled in the carpentry program, I knew I was in the right place. TAFE’s commitment to practical learning, experienced instructors, and state-of-the-art facilities made the learning process both engaging and rewarding. The hands- on approach allowed me to develop essential carpentry skills and techniques, setting me on a path to become a skilled craftsman.
Have you found work?
Currently, I am working as a joiner at Cedar West, where I get to apply the knowledge and skills that I learnt at TAFE every day.
The industry-relevant training prepared me for the challenges and opportunities that come with being a carpentry professional. I owe a significant part of my success in the field to TAFE and its commitment to producing competent and skilled graduates.
Where are you living?
I am thrilled to share that I have recently obtained the Australian permanent visa, which would not have been possible without the comprehensive education and support from TAFE International WA. The institution's dedication to its students' success goes beyond the classroom, providing guidance and resources to help us thrive in our careers and lives.
How have you found living in WA?
Life in WA has been nothing short of blissful. The vibrant community, stunning landscapes, and welcoming atmosphere make it an ideal place to call home. Studying at not only equipped me with the tools to excel in my career but also instilled in me a sense of belonging and connection to this wonderful region.
Advice for future students?
To anyone considering pursuing their dreams through education, I wholeheartedly recommend TAFE International WA. I am living proof of the incredible opportunities that await those who choose to be a part of the WA TAFE community.
